Two of our valleys in one trip. Start at our hotels near Norbulingka in Dharamshala, drive to Manali, cross Kunzum Pass to Chandratal and Kaza, where we run Spiti Villa, and come out through Kinnaur.
Tell us your dates and how many of you are travelling. A local planner sends the full itinerary, what’s included and a quote on WhatsApp, usually the same day.
Nights at our hotels in Dharamshala and at Spiti Villa in Kaza; trusted guesthouses and camps in between.
You will sleep at about 3,650 m in Kaza. Rest on arrival, drink plenty of water and tell us about any health conditions.
Expect long road days, landslide-prone sections and rough stretches near Kunzum. We keep buffer time in the plan.
Indian citizens need only photo ID. Foreign nationals need an Inner Line Permit for the Kinnaur stretch, checked at Sumdo.
Warm layers even in July, a down jacket, sunglasses, sunscreen, a basic medical kit and cash for remote villages.
Our trip takes 10 days: Dharamshala to Manali, over Kunzum Pass to Chandratal and Kaza, and out through Kinnaur.
June to September, while the Manali side over Kunzum Pass is open. The pass usually opens in June and closes by mid-October.
Indian citizens need only a valid photo ID. Foreign nationals need an Inner Line Permit for the Kinnaur stretch on the way out, checked at Sumdo; we help with it.
At our hotels in Dharamshala at the start and at Spiti Villa in Kaza, with trusted guesthouses and camps in between.
